Call for Abstracts
To submit an abstract, please choose "Create a Conference Personal Page" (click here to enter the Abstract & Registration site).
Using your email address and your password you can enter and modify your Conference Personal Page in the future. You can also change your abstract(s) upon you proceed to the final submission. A completed electronic submission is due prior to the published deadline.
THIS DOES NOT IMPLY THAT YOUR ABSTRACT HAS BEEN ACCEPTED BY THE CONFERENCE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE. The acceptance will be communicated before the end of March.
The program committee will schedule both oral and poster sessions. The abstract of both oral and poster papers are published in the same form on the Conference Program and in the Book of Abstract. On the electronic submission form, the author will be asked for the presentation(s) preference.

Abstract Preparation
Before starting the electronic submission you should know that:
- the maximum length of the abstract body is 2500 characters (space included);
- it is not possible to insert Figures or Tables. If you really need to do it you should contact the Abstract Office (abstract@geomed2011.it.);
- refrain from the use of asterisks, acknowledgments, job descriptions or footnotes;
- references are part of the abstract body. Please make sure that your abstract does not contain non-English font packages (for example, Japanese, Korean, or Chinese fonts, etc.) in the body as well as in the Authors’ names, addresses, etc. Characters in these fonts cannot be seen by reviewers. In the past, we have had trouble with this issue.
Copyright Agreement
The submission form incorporates an electronic copyright transfer agreement as part of your submission. No additional mailed documentation is required.
Presentation Preference
The options for this conference are oral only, oral preferred, poster only, poster preferred, oral-or-poster.
Peer Review
Abstracts will undergo a review process carried out by the members of the Scientific Committee.
