Dear Contributors of GeoMed Sessions,
We are very pleased that you are attending GeoMed 2011 and are presenting the results of your research in specific Sessions of the Meeting.
We wish to announce that we, Convenors of the Combined Session: RA4-3: Medical Geology Perspective on The Risks Associated with Volcanism and Brownfields, plan a Special Issue of Journal of Geochemical Exploration as a vehicle for formal papers related to our specific Session, but as well submitted to other Sessions on topics concerning significant health issues, from both geologic processes and anthropogenic actions, as oral and poster presentations.
We will be pleased if you consider submitting your papers to this effort. In the meantime we would be pleased to receive a message from all potential contributors, indicating the tentative tiles and list of authors.
The submission and journal review process will be in accordance with the formal Journal of Geochemical Exploration rules.
A deadline date for submission will be the end of 2011. The review process should be completed by the end of May 2012, with the publication of the volume by the Fall 2012.
